Used as an alternative to the standard platen Ø300 mm with a mass typicall over 30kg

This solution allows a much easier and “safe” removal and positioning of the lower compression platen.
Very usefull when the distance pieces have to be regularly changed, based on the specimen size to test.

Allows for platen change by 1 person.

It consists of replacing the heavy lower heavy platen with a smaller platen.
Also needed is a suitable distance piece, typical an additional 20mm is required.
Use with cube 100 or 150 mm or cylinder 150×300 mm or 160×320 mm diameter test.
Not suitable for 200mm cube tests.
